Our research
The overarching idea behind our research is that universal principles of dynamical systems can help us interpret observations without having to model every detail of the underlying system. Making this connection requires a solid understanding of the system itself, the data and how they are generated, and the assumptions and uncertainties involved. By bringing these together, we can learn about properties that matter, such as resilience and potential responses to targeted interventions, even in highly complex systems.
